Rural Health Connect proud to be helping bushfire affected communities

Rural Health Connect is proud to be part of the mental health package for supporting bushfire affected communities, announced today. We commend the Victorian Government for this broad and well rounded approach to looking after communities who have been through a lot. Many of those affected were dealing with the impact of drought when the fires hit. Now they are in the long recovery and rebuilding process in the midst of a pandemic. This means that they are unable to access the community support often relied on in the bush, when they need it most.

We provide a convenient, private and secure way for anyone who is struggling to access a psychologist. For people who live out of town, or are busy rebuilding, they can do their session from home without much disruption to their daily lives. The psychologists on our site can help provide tools and strategies that people can use to help get through these challenging times.
